Nashvillian. Educator. Advocate. Proud Supporter of Public Schools
My name is Gini Pupo-Walker and I am a native Nashvillian, career educator, and advocate for students and families. I grew up and raised my children in District 8. I bring over 20 years of experience in education and a reputation as a skilled problem-solver and consensus builder to some of the most complex issues in our city. This work is more than my profession, it is also deeply personal. As a school board member I will represent the families in District 8, and ensure that their aspirations for excellence and success for the children of Nashville are reflected in my service on the board. Nashville has shown that it can reinvent itself. We must come together and do the same for our education system. My hometown is on the rise, and my goal is to make sure that every student rises with it.
